Books of Numbers:
An outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace: , being a two volume set of books, with a number mark for each person who has died of Covid-19 in the US and throughout the world, as of November 1, 2020. Each "1" numbers a person, and outward sigh of each being one, the spiritual grace being that they, and we, are all made in the image of The Holy One. It is a sacramental act to hold in the reader's hands a book containing a mark for everyone who has died, and to remember the Dead, and hold the living accountable.
The Visual Count: 500,000 Covid Deaths
On 4 40x60 in panels 500,000 dots are printed, each representing a death from Covid. The panels were displayed along with other art objects, as a way of attempting to capture something of the depth of sadness that so many had died.
